Victoria said: ‘I can’t wait for you to try our new @victoriabeckhambeauty Matte Bronzing Brick, my dream product! Bronzer is the one product I can’t live without and this one is so brilliant.

‘There’s two shades in each palette, I use the lighter one for overall warmth and the second to contour and add definition.

‘It gives such a natural glow without sparkling or shining. I’ve been secretly using it for months and I have to say I am obsessed!’

Victoria stated that she and her team had been secretly working on the product since the launch of her beauty brand.

Also on Friday, her husband David Beckham, 46, proved he really can do it all as he turned director for Victoria and shot her eponymous beauty line in a throwback clip filmed in Miami, before the family returned to the UK.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, where they were joined by Victoria’s friend and hairstylist Ken Paves, the group got to work in a bathroom where the former Spice Girl was seen wearing jeans and a shirt.

Victoria seemed to be managing the operation as she filmed in the chic bathroom, where David was clutching a camera while sporting all black.

It comes after Victoria revealed the Spice Girls influenced Beyonce to become the iconic artist she is today. She revealed the band’s message of Girl Power really resonated with Beyonce, 39, who told her about the impact they’d had.

Victoria revealed: ‘I met Beyoncé a few years ago, and she actually said to me, “It was the Spice Girls that inspired me and made me want to do what I do and made me proud to be a girl and proud to be who I am”‘.

She added on Dear Media’s Breaking Beauty podcast: ‘And when someone like Beyoncé, who is so iconic and was such a strong woman, says that she was inspired by the Spice Girls, I think that’s quite something.’

Although Victoria decided to not join the foursome for their most recent tour Spice World in 2019.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Victoria insisted that she doesn’t cringe over her past make-up looks during the Spice Girls as it was all a ‘journey’ and she ‘didn’t care’ at the time.

Talking about her time in the girl band, the fashion designer even joked that her four children often comment on how ‘cool’ she used to be – to which she quipped: ‘Oh, wow. Does that mean I’m not now?’

Talking on Dear Media’s Breaking Beauty podcast alongside Sarah Creal, co-founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty, Victoria reflected: ‘You know, I’ve been so lucky to work with the best makeup artists in the industry, which has just been so, so great.

‘And I look back at pictures and people always say, “Oh, do you cringe at any of the pictures?” You know. Do I cringe at that heavy lip liner? No, it was, it was a journey.

‘Do I cringe at those skinny eyebrows? No, it was a journey and way too much blush, you know, we were working so hard and we were so exhausted.

‘There was a time where we were in a different country every few days. And the more and more tired that we got, the more and more blusher that we put on.’

Victoria Beckham leaves her nine-year-old daughter Harper a sweet letter from the tooth fairy

They’ve always been a close-knit mother-daughter-duo.

And Victoria Beckham was every inch the doting mum when she left her nine-year-old daughter a letter from the tooth fairy on Saturday.

The Spice Girl, 47, told her followers excitedly on Instagram: ‘Someone’s tooth fell out last night!’

Victoria filmed the collection of magical messages, all of which were covered in cute love hearts.

The main card read: ‘Dear Harper, Thank you for your beautiful tooth! Us fairies love you so much!’

Meanwhile, a series of smaller hear-shaped letters reminded Harper of some of her positive qualities.

‘Dear Harper, here are just a few reasons why everyone loves you. Harper is smart. Harper is kind. Harper is funny. Harper is sensitive,’ they said.

Victoria went on to ask her followers what they do with their kids’ teeth once they fall out, as she admitted to having a whole bucket full of them at home.

She wrote: ‘Yet another tooth for my collection… does anyone else have this!?’

Victoria shared a selection of responses from her fans, including one from her son Brooklyn’s fiancee Nicola – who had a very unique suggestion.

Admitting it was her ‘favourite’ response, Victoria shared the comment which read: ‘Dip it gold and wear them on a necklace!’

The sweet post comes after Victoria gave an insight into how her family spent lockdown on Thursday.

Speaking to Evening Standard, the designer revealed unlike most of the nation – she refused to wear loungewear in the house – but did identify with parents struggling with homeschooling.

Discussing how the family coped in the last year, she revealed that she acted as a ‘cheerleader’ for the group and was determined to keep everyone’s spirits high as they focused on spending time together.

Victoria and husband David, 44, spent the first lockdown in the Cotswolds with children Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15 and Harper, nine – while eldest son Brooklyn, 22, spent some time with fiancee Nicola Peltz, 26, in the States.

Speaking about her experience, Victoria revealed that although she wanted to wear something ‘more casual’, she refused to sit around in loungewear.

She explained: ‘At first it was a novelty… I love to dress up, and put makeup on and do my hair. It’s who I am.

‘I don’t just dress up to look a certain way for other people, I do it because it makes me feel good about myself.’

She continued: ‘Obviously I was a little bit more relaxed at home but i still wanted to make an effort. I wasn’t going to automatically put on sweatpants – even if they are very nice Reebok sweatpants!

‘I wasn’t just going to give up and put on an elasticated waistband.’

Emily mused: ‘It seems David doesn’t like you in too many saggy sweatpant looks,’ to which Victoria replied, ‘I don’t know. He likes me to dress casually but every day I was still working.

‘When it started to get difficult and the weather wasn’t so great and the novelty had worn off I’m a bit of a cheerleader for the family.

‘I wanted to wake up and be positive, and I did feel positive, so for me to put on nice clothes and put a bit of makeup on – I’m not saying I was wandering around the house in super high heels – I don’t want to shatter the illusion but I still wanted to make a bit of an effort.’

Revealing how they kept the kids entertained, Victoria said: ‘When lockdown first happened, the schools closed and we said the focus has to be the children.

‘We wanted kids who come out of lockdown happy and free spirited. Yes we have to do schoolwork but it’s a time for the family to be close, to communicate. It’s the most important thing to sit and watch movies and cuddle with the children – and yes have a bottle of wine – that’s ok!

‘But to just spend time together, communicate and talk to the kids, because the little people felt very very nervous and vulnerable during this time. They just don’t know how to vocalise this.’

The mother-of-four also revealed that homeschooling daughter Harper, nine, during lockdown gave her a greater appreciation for teachers.

Speaking about Harper and Cruz’s return to school, she revealed: ‘They were so happy. I mean, our kids love going to school for social friends. They work hard at school.

‘But I’ve never seen my kids so excited to go back to school and it was lovely to see. We forget how much they have missed.

‘I think mine actually appreciate school more. Because they’ve seen actually that without it, life was a bit lonely. And how much do we appreciate teachers now?

‘I appreciate teachers so much more, homeschooling is no joke. I can run a business. I can sit in a board meeting. No problem. Yeah, home-schooling the kids is really, really, really tough.’

Victoria Beckham admits she can’t afford a show at Fashion Week this year

Victoria Beckham has admitted she can’t afford to put on a runway show during Fashion Week in September.

Speaking to Evening Standard editor Emily Sheffield for London Rising on Thursday, the 47-year-old designer confessed her eponymous label is struggling financially after the pandemic.

She also lamented that big labels such as Burberry and Chanel will be able to carry on as normal, confessing she’d hoped the pandemic would have ‘levelled the playing field’.

The admission comes after it was revealed Victoria’s fashion label has racked up total losses of more than £46 million since it launched.

Strapped for cash: Victoria Beckham has admitted she can’t afford to put on a runway show during Fashion Week in September in a chat with London Rising

Asked about her plans for Fashion Week in the autumn, Victoria mused: ‘Let’s hope we’re out of this pandemic by September.

‘I do believe the best way to see fashion is a fashion show, to see the clothes, to hear the clothes, see models in the clothes, it’s hard to find a way that can beat that. We’ve tried the best we can to show that through digital but it’s difficult.’

‘Will I be doing a show in September? I don’t know. If I’m being really honest, the pandemic has affected my business.

‘Will I be in a position to spend all that money on a show? I don’t know, probably not. It will probably still be digital.’

Struggling: Victoria said she'd hoped the pandemic would have 'levelled the playing field' with brands (pictured at her runway show during London Fashion Week in February 2020)

She continued: ‘I’d love to not but I’m just being optimistic and realistic at the same time. It has affected business. I’m lucky to still have a business but doing fashion shows costs a lot of money.’

Victoria then pointed out the discrepancies in the industry as she lamented the fact that big brands have been able to host shows, while smaller companies like her own have not had the same luxury.

She said: ‘I did hope when the pandemic first hit that it would make the fashion industry a more even playing field.

‘I thought everyone is going to be forced to be more creative – it’s not going to be about just spending money on all the big shows and extravaganza, flying editors from one side of the world to the other – but sadly that didn’t happen. It continues to happen.

‘The big shows are still happening from the big houses, they’re just filming the shows then showing them through social. Which I think is great for the people who can do that… but for the smaller brands that can’t, it makes it a very, very difficult place to try and – ultimately, you are competing.’

Keeping it online: Victoria admitted her next show will probably have to be digital (pictured: British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, David Beckham, Harper Beckham and Anna Wintour at Victoria's runway show in February 2020)

Victoria concluded: ‘I would imagine, in September, the big houses will do that again and the smaller houses will just have to try and find more creative ways to get the attention, to communicate their collection.’

The former Spice Girl revealed that she is also considering going back to roots and hosting a small showcase instead of going digital.

She explained: ‘That’s how I started all those years ago in New York. I did very small presentations where I had two models and 10 dresses and I would do individual presentations, so maybe we will take it back to that.

‘I would love to do something. I enjoy that.’

The designer’s candid admission comes after it was revealed her fashion label has racked up total losses of more than £46 million since it launched.

In accounts submitted in February, auditors warned of ‘significant doubt’ about the company’s ability to continue operating.

The brand also recorded losses of £11.8 million for 2019 and £12.3 million for 2018.

It also emerged that her beauty range she set up in 2019 has suffered a loss of £4.7 million.

While the former Spice Girl’s publicists sought to put a positive gloss on the figures, accountants said the business will need continued financial support from shareholders to keep it going.

‘These events or conditions indicate that a material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the company’s ability to continue as a going concern,’ the auditors wrote.

Victoria launched her fashion label in 2008 with a small collection of dresses. It swiftly grew to an extensive range that now includes handbags, coats, shoes and accessories.

Now, friends of the star say she is determined to continue with her company even though her detractors have dismissed it as a vanity project.

In January, it emerged that she and her husband David had paid themselves £40,000-a-day thanks to the profit made by his company, DB Ventures, which has covered Victoria’s losses in previous years.

She attracted criticism last year for trying to use the Government’s furlough scheme to pay 30 of her 120 staff and was forced into an embarrassing U-turn.

A spokeswoman for Victoria told MailOnline: ‘Whilst 2019 was a challenging year, the business halved its losses – a significant step in the road to profitability.

‘The launch of the hugely successful beauty line in the same year helped drive overall revenues up 7% on 2018 and both businesses are focussed on profitable growth.

‘The showcase of the recent AW21 fashion collection has been well-received by fashion critics and the beauty business has seen multiple sell-out products in recent months.’
