Candice Warner and SAS Australia recruits at Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham’s speaking tour

Channel Seven’s military-style series SAS Australia was a surprise ratings hit last year.

And ahead of the new season’s premiere, past and current SAS recruits joined forces to attend instructor Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham’s speaking tour in Sydney on Friday.

Past contestant Candice Warner, 36, showed off her leggy figure in a chic black blazer dress as she joined newcomers Erin Holland, 32, and Kerri Pottharst, 55.

Candice elongated her frame with black stiletto heels, and added extra touches of glamour in the form of a black Hermès handbag and delicate gold jewellery.

The former Ironwoman showed off a very bronzed complexion, styled her blonde locks out and wavy, and enhanced her striking facial features with bold makeup.

Candice was joined by Erin and Kerri, who were only recently announced as two of the new recruits for SAS Australia’s 2021 season.

Former beauty pageant queen Erin donned a thigh-skimming black shirt dress, which she teamed with open-toe mesh booties and a chic grey overcoat.

The brunette beauty carried her essentials in a Chanel black quilted handbag, and finished off the look with glossy tresses and glamorous makeup.

Beach volleyball star Kerri also followed the black memo, opting for a slinky one-shoulder top, leather-look pants and heeled boots.

She draped a blue denim jacket over her toned shoulders and kept her hair and makeup elegant.

James Magnussen, 30, who starred on last year’s season, cut a casual figure in a black T-shirt, matching skinny-leg jeans, pristine white sneakers and a denim jacket.

The Olympic swimmer happily mingled with Billy’s fellow SAS instructors Jason Fox and Ollie Ollerton. 

Billy is currently on a speaking tour in Australia, detailing his experiences in the Special Forces unit.

Filming on the 2021 season of SAS Australia will soon commence, featuring Erin, Kerri, Sam Burgess, Isabelle Cornish, Brynne Edelsten, Jett Kenny, Manu Feildel and Dan Ewing among others.

The new series of SAS Australia has officially finished filming in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

And on Wednesday, chief instructor Ant Middleton revealed a ‘good few’ celebrities quit the show in the first few days.

The former British Special Forces solider, 40, told The Kyle and Jackie O Show several contestants left the selection course early.

Ant said: ‘I’ve never done so much shouting in my life and spitting at people’s faces so they frustrated me a lot but we got so much out of them.’

‘A good few dropped in the first couple of days, but once we get them in that mindset and headspace you see a change in them,’ he added.

Ant also told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson that Sam Burgess was ‘someone we had to get a grip off’.

Season two’s line-up for the military-style competition features a mixture of famous and controversial participants.

NRL player Sam is set to appear on the show alongside socialite Brynne Edelsten and celebrity chef Manu Feildel.

Tennis champion Alicia Molik, Home and Away’s Dan Ewing, actress Bonnie Anderson and former politician Emma Husar are also set to compete on the show.

They’ll be joined by TV presenter Erin Holland, AFL star Heath Shaw, actress Isabelle Cornish, Olympian Jana Pittman and Australian sprinter Jessica Peris.

The series will also star Ironman Jett Kenny, Olympic runner John Steffensen, volleyball champion Kerri Pottharst, Bra Boy Koby Abberton, singer Pete Murray and tennis star Mark Philippoussis.

The celebrities will endure strenuous physical activity and military-inspired challenges in order to test their true character.

He’s the former Australian tennis player set to appear on the new season of military-inspired series, SAS Australia.

And on Wednesday, Mark Philippoussis showed off dramatic weight loss weeks after filming the grueling reality series.

Uploading a mirror selfie to his Instagram, the 44-year-old wrote: ‘SAS aftermath – never been so excited to watch my ass get kicked,’ alongside a flexed bicep emoji.

In the photo, the retired athlete put his taut physique on display.

Meanwhile, SAS chief instructor Ollie Otterton wrote: ‘SAS – Super Ab Solutions!’

‘Hope the experience was worth the pain….what an adventure for both body and mind,’ one user commented, to which he replied: ‘100%’.

The series will also star Ironman Jett Kenny, Olympic runner John Steffensen, volleyball champion Kerri Pottharst, Bra Boy Koby Abberton and singer Pete Murray.

Filming for the new series is understood to have already wrapped up, with this year’s training camp being in the much warmer location of the Blue Mountains.

Seven decided to ditch last year’s location in Jindabyne, where temperatures reach as low as minus three degrees.
