Kim Kardashian reveals she’s ‘ready to be happy again’ in KUWTK teaser after star sobbed about feeling ‘like a loser’ amid split from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian revealed she’s ready to be happy again amid her ongoing divorce from Kanye West.

In a new mid-season teaser for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 40-year-old star has a heart-to-heart with mom Kris Jenner about her personal life.

‘I just want you to be happy and joyful’ the 65-year-old tells Kim in the clip.

‘I’m ready’: Kim Kardashian says she wants to be happy again as she talks to mom Kris Jenner about her split from Kanye West in a new mid season trailer for KUWTK

‘Yeah… and I’m ready too.’ Kim, who filed for divorce from her husband of six years in February, responds.

The preview also shows Kim breaking down and sobbing as she says ‘I feel like a loser’ while opening up to family including sister Kendall.

The episodes were filmed before news of Kim and Kanye’s split broke on February 19, when it was reported Kim had officially filed for divorce.

Kim and the Heartless rapper, 43, have not released an official statement on their split, but two weeks ago, Kim’s close friend Chrissy Teigen suggested the SKIMS founder had ‘tried her best’ to make her marriage work.

Chrissy said: ‘Kim is doing OK. I know Kim gave her all for everything.

‘It’s honestly a shame that it didn’t work out because I saw them being a forever relationship.

‘I really did, but I know she tried her best.’

Kanye filed a response to Kim’s divorce petition in April and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children, and it was recently claimed the proceedings are going smoothly so far.

Walmart accuses Kanye West of using lookalike to their ‘sun’ logo with his new trademark

Kanye West is in a legal tiff with Walmart after the retailer accused the rapper and designer of using a lookalike logo.

Back in January 2020, Yeezy LLC – West’s company – filed a design with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The design, described in paperwork as ‘rays from a sun’, shows eight lines, each of three dots, which together forms a circle that looks like rays.

Walmart’s logo, meanwhile, consists of six yellow lines, which are made of solid lines rather than dots, which also form rays in the shape of a circle in a way that resembles the sun.

Kanye West is under fire after Walmart asked for his logo trademark application to be rejected, noting similarities between the Yeezy LLC logo and the long-time Walmart logo

Walmart filed their opposition to West’s logo on April 21, complaining that his logo could cause ‘confusion’ between the two entities.

They also want to avoid the suggestion of a potential connection between Yeezy LLC and Walmart.

Two days before Walmart lodged their opposition, they sent a letter to Yeezy lawyers about the matter, which hinted at previous attempts to settle.

‘As we referenced in our correspondence in July and August of 2020, January and February of 2021 and our telephone conference in March of 2021, Walmart has repeatedly sought to understand Yeezy’s planned use of the Yeezy Application, with the goal of finding ways in which the Walmart Spark Design and the Yeezy Application can co-exist with one another,’ the letter said, according to the New York Post.

‘However, to date, we have not received any conclusive information from Yeezy regarding the planned use or any cooperation from Yeezy in order to find common ground.’

Walmart also drew particular issue with the ways West plans on using the trademark, which includes for sneakers, T-shirts, underwear, musical sound recordings, streaming, furniture, modular homes, hotel services, and much more.

In their notice of opposition, Walmart cited their history of working with entertainers as a further problem with West.

Walmart has ‘done marketing campaigns in association with Jennifer Garner, the cast of Queer Eye, Drew Barrymore, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, and Sofia Vergara to name a few,’ they said in their opposition.

The retailer also noted that they began using their logo in 2007, 13 years before West’s logo was filed with the trademark office.

Walmart wants Yeezy LLC’s application to be blocked by the trademark office.

This is not the first time West has been involved in controversy regarding his designs. In 2018, he was accused of stealing a design for his clothing line.

After former Nike designer Tony Spackman alleged that the design West presented was 13 years old, West apologized and gave credit to Spackman.

According to Billboard, West also fired the designer who plagiarized the design from Spackman’s website.

West is no stranger to filing trademarks for various logos, even filing one earlier this month for his Gap collection, though it has yet to be approved.

The rapper has had designs on the fashion world since the early stages of his musical career.

In 2009, he released the Air Yeezys with Nike, becoming the first non-athlete to have a shoe deal with the company.

That year, he also interned with Italian fashion brand Fendi.

West then began collaborating with Adidas on a shoe in 2013, which expanded into work on a clothing line by 2015.

The Yeezy brand pushed West over $1 billion net worth last April, securing him a spot on the Forbes billionaire list.

According to the real-time billionaire list from Forbes, West is worth $1.8 billion, ranking him among the 2000 most wealthy people in the world.

Bloomberg estimated Yeezy is worth somewhere between $3.2 and $4.7 billion by UBS Group AG, according to a private document reviewed by Bloomberg.

The difference, according to Forbes, is the current value versus the projected values going forward.

The UBS Group AG, for instance, predicts the brand will reach over $3 billion in sales by 2026, according to Forbes, which the publication said played into Bloomberg’s estimates.

Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy 1 Prototype sneakers he wore at 2008 Grammys sell for record $1.8MILLION

A pair of prototype Nikes worn by Kanye West during his performances of ‘Hey Mama’ and ‘Stronger’ at the Grammy Awards in 2008 has shattered the record for a pair of sneakers ever sold.

Sotheby’s announced Monday that West’s so-called ‘Grammy Worn’ Nike Air Yeezy 1 fetched $1.8million in a private sale by RARES, a sneaker marketplace.

The sale marks the highest publicly recorded price for a sneaker sale and the first pair of sneakers to top $1 million. Sotheby’s brokered the private sale.

The size 12 shoes designed by West and Mark Smith are made of soft black leather with perforated detailing throughout the upper, and the heel overlay is branded with a tonal Swoosh.

Sotheby, which handled the sale, said West's  'Grammy Worn' Nike Air Yeezy 1 was bought by RARES for $1.8million.

The design features the iconic Yeezy forefoot strap and signature `Y´ medallion lacelocks in bright pink.

The price is nearly triple the auction record for a sneaker set in 2020 at Christie´s for $615,000.

Kim Kardashian and CNN reporter Van Jones are at the center of dating rumors, just two months after she filed for divorce from her estranged husband Kanye West.

While the pair have been pals for years, fans speculate their friendship may have turned romantic as she during her four-year law apprenticeship with his Oakland-based nonpartisan organization, #cut50.

Sources close to Kardashian, however, are shooting down speculation of a romance, saying the pair have a long working relationship together and a shared interest in criminal justice reform.

Twitter users are divided by the idea of them as a couple, with many accusing Kardashian of ‘using’ Jones to ‘further her law career.’

‘People are gonna look at Kim as using Kanye to advance her in the fashion world and using Van Jones to help advance her into her next career field in law,’ fired one fan.

Jones recently ended a long marriage to his wife of 14 years, Jana Carter, in 2019.

Amid the KKW Beauty’s divorce, she has been reportedly been pursued by royals, billionaires and A-lister suitors.

How Kate Middleton’s wedding dress inspired a decade of celebrity brides

Kate Middleton’s wedding dress inspired a decade worth of celebrity copycats and the wedding dress market was flooded with imitations of the famous gown following the 2011 royal wedding, a fashion expert has revealed.

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge prepare to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this week, celebrity stylist Karen Williams has shared how Kate’s famous Alexander McQueen gown influenced thousands of people to mimic the long-sleeved lace and satin style, including some of the most famous brides of the last decade.

The £250,000 intricate look, which included a lace bodice hand-stitched by the world’s best seamstresses at the Royal School of Needlework, became an instant hit when it was debuted at Westminster Abbey on 29th April, 2011.

In the decade since, Kate’s dress has inspired the likes of Kim Kardashian, who walked down the aisle in a custom Givenchy gown to wed Kanye West in Florence in 2014 – as well as socialite Nicky Hilton, who sported a £55,000 Valentino to marry James Rothschild in London the year after, and more recently actress Rose Leslie who married her Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harrington in 2018.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Karen who has styled Beyoncé and David Beckham, said: ‘Even though it’s been ten years since her dress graced us with its beauty – the impact was so great that many celebrities up until this point and for the foreseeable future will always look back at Kate’s iconic look as reference to the ultimate wedding dress.

‘I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kim Kardashian, Jacqueline Jossa, Nicky Hilton and many more (including my own wedding dress) chose the lace long sleeve.

‘No matter what tweaks and differences celebrity wedding dresses may have, the designs of them have been changed forever and that’s because there’s one stand-alone dress that has set the bar as high as it did.’

Kim Kardashian’s Givenchy bridal gown – which was made by Kanye’s friend creative director Riccardo Tisci and cost a reported $500,00 – had the same look as Her Royal Highness’ with long lace arms, a cinched bodice and floor length flowing skirt.

Meanwhile, socialite and heiress Nicky Hilton sported a similar number for her wedding to banking heir James Rothschild in 2015.

Just like the Duchess of Cambridge, the businesswoman’s dress had an hourglass silhouette, long lace arms, and a block white corseted feature.

More recently controversial conservative commentator Candace Owens tied the knot to George Farmer, son of British life peer Baron Michael Farmer in a Kate-inspired lace bodice dress and flowing skirt in 2019.

The activist sported a gown from French designer Monique Lhuillier, in a very similar silhouette and panelling to Kate’s, with the same intricate lace panelling.

‘Kate’s track record for looking amazing at every event she attended wearing accessible brands had already won our hearts so we knew her wedding dress would be no different,’ Karen added.

‘I expected classic, beautiful, elegant, but I don’t think anyone expected her dress to quite as stunning as it was.

‘The whole world seemed to be whipped into a mesmerised state by the sheer elegance, beauty and detail of her, in this Alexander McQueen creation’.

‘The organza-covered buttons, Rouleau loops, the lace crafted out of hand-cut English and Chantilly and the back of the dress included a folded detailing made with ivory and white satin gazar fabric.

‘Everything about this was just genius. Every now and then magic is created by the coming together of a fabulous outfit and the person wearing it.

‘I believe this was one of those magical moments, and this inspired all the big designers, right down to the small independent wedding dressmakers to rush into creating copycat dresses that flooded the industry’.

EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, Kate Upton, Sophie Turner, Karlie Kloss, and Ashlee Simpson have also all opted for long-sleeved lace numbers in their recent nuptials, many with a clear nod to the royal.

‘From the moment our new fashion icon walked down the aisle she gave every girl in the world, no matter what their wealth was, a chance that they could look and feel like a princess for a day,’ Karen went on.

‘When Kate burst on to the royal scene as William’s girlfriend and we started to take her seriously as his future wife, she brought with her something new and fresh, something exciting which made many girls sit up and take note.

‘Her simple approach to fashion gave us the classic vibes one would expect, but with a brilliant modern and slightly fashion forward twist.

‘She famously stepped out in a Self Portrait off-white maxi dress to a London Premier and sent not just the fashionistas into a frenzy but normal girls too as this wasn’t exactly a designer dress. The price point was affordable for many.

‘Overnight Self Portrait became an iconic brand and from that point on Kate was our go-to girl for what to wear.

‘I think it inspired many celebrities to get a piece of that royal signature style. The bodice inspired by Victorian tradition of corsetry, proved a narrow waist, which I think was a flattering and sort after look.

‘Since then many celebrities have created or worn similar styles that have included elements similar to Kate, such as Kate Upton who wore a slim fitting style covered in pearls and beads with Kim Kardashian having beautiful lace over the arms and body of her dress.

‘The style of dress flattering on most body shapes and with (in some cases) padding being added to the midsections that then goes into the train.

‘I feel that style and inspiration will continue for years to come as Kate is a fashion icon in many ways.

Sarah Burton, who designed the dress, said at the time there were ‘a lot of references to Victorian corsetry’.

‘The padded hip, the tiny cinched-in waist, and also to the arts and crafts movement with all of the hand-work on the lace of the dress and also the bustle inside to create the shape of the back of the dress.

‘It has an essence of Victorian but we cut the dress in a very modern way, it is in a very light fabric, also the pleats and the folds create a modern feel rather than a historical piece,’ she added.
