Alex said she used the Sun Rice sushi rice from Woolworths and cooked the food in the microwave with water for six minutes.

‘Add the sushi seasoning once it’s cooked and stir through with a wooden spoon,’ she said.

Alex also shared a few handy tips for those wanting to make the sushi dumplings themselves.

‘If you’re using tinned tuna, squeeze excess water with a tea towel so it doesn’t make the Nori [dried seaweed] soggy,’ she said.

She also recommended using minimal filling, otherwise the dumpling won’t fold properly.
